The perfect mountain
for everyone – Plose and its summer program
Mount Plose offers a wide range of activities for those who like the
adventure, but also for the ones who want to enjoy the spirit of the mountain.
The spectacular view of the Peitlerkofel, the peaks of the Geisler/Odle and the
beautiful hiking paths are primary characteristics of the Plose. The summer
program has been extended with a great recreational offer:
NEW – Brixen Bikepark
There are four freeride-lines for mountain bikers in
Brixen Bikepark, from very easy to challenging. The easiest Jerry Line is never too rough and never
to tight: It is simply ideal for beginners and kids. The Hammer Line guarantees airtime and variety, thanks to a few jumps
and some nice back and forth action. The Sky
Line is the oldest and also the longest line in the park. It is well and
truly fast, due to its length demanding in terms of fitness, and it requires
good control and the ability to ride safely. The Tom “Pro” Line challenges advanced riders with some features, jumps
and steeper passages. The Brixen Bikepark can be reached with the Plose gondola
lift and the Palmschoß chair lift, where bikes are welcome. With the
bike-ticket, you get unlimited access to these lifts. It is available for 4
hours, a day or for the season. Additional information: www.brixen.org/bike
MountainCarts
It is a real adventure to rush down the 9 km long run to the bottom
station of the Plose gondola lift and a must-do for everyone who loves action.
The MountainCarts can be rented at the mountain station of the Plose
gondola lift. They are worth a try!
Great Scenery on Mount Plose – Sunrise at peak Gabler
The Great Scenery on Mount Plose is a perfect opportunity to feel the
calm of the early morning and to experience the breathtaking moment, when the
sun rises upon the mountains. The peak is reachable within 45 minutes starting
from the mountain station of the Pfannspitz gondola lift.
